A new approach to media training has been launched by Rampart PR and its proactive PR subsidiary Uprise PR.

Available for as little as £75 for an hourly session, one-to-one coaching can be carried out via telephone or Skype at short notice – cutting out travel time and the need to find sufficient numbers of attendees to make a face-to-face workshop worthwhile.

Emily Dent, Director of the Rampart PR group, said “As the vast majority of interviews carried out by journalists nowadays are conducted over the phone, it seemed logical that our training should also be offered via the same medium or via Skype.”

Edmund Tirbutt, head of media training at the Rampart PR group, added, “This method is proving especially popular for staff with little experience of talking to the media who are finding themselves having to cover for their colleagues’ media duties on an ad-hoc basis. It is also appealing to experienced media commentators who are nervous ahead of a particularly challenging one-off interview. ”

Rampart also provides larger face-to-face workshops for between four and eight delegates for companies with a number of staff that they want trained up to talk to the media regularly.

If you would like to book a telephone or Skype-based media training session or to arrange a face-to-face workshop for between four and eight delegates please contact team@rampartpr.com or call Tel: 0845 544 3580, or visit on our online booking page.
